HIV Support Group
Connection. Support. A space where you don’t have to explain everything.
Living with HIV can come with experiences that aren’t always easy to talk about with people who haven’t lived them. Helen’s Project’s HIV Support Group provides a supportive, judgment-free space for adults living with HIV to connect, talk openly, share experiences, and build community.
Whether you were recently diagnosed or have been navigating life with HIV for years, you are welcome here.
Join Us In Person or Virtually
This is a hybrid support group, so you can participate in the way that works best for you:
🏠 In Person: Helen’s Project – San Antonio Office
💻 Virtually: Join securely from wherever you are
📅 Thursdays
⏰ 10:00–11:00 AM
What to Expect
Our facilitated conversations may include emotional wellness, relationships, stigma, disclosure, healthcare, family, stress, self-advocacy, and navigating everyday life while living with HIV.
Some weeks may focus on a specific topic. Other weeks may simply provide space to talk, connect, listen, or just be around people who understand.
You never have to share more than you’re comfortable sharing.
Your Privacy Matters
We understand that joining an HIV support group requires trust. Helen’s Project is committed to creating a respectful and confidential environment for both our in-person and virtual participants.
Registration is required. After registering, you’ll receive instructions for attending in person or joining virtually.
Come As You Are.
You don't have to navigate everything alone.
One hour. Real connection. A community that gets it.
