Community Care Wellness Program
“Supporting the people who support our communities”
At Helen’s Project, we believe strong communities begin with strong support systems.
“Our Community Care Wellness Program” is designed for the nonprofit workers, community staff, and volunteers who serve individuals in low income and high stress environments.
This program gives them confidential, affordable, and culturally responsive mental health support so they can continue their work with confidence and resilience.
Who This Program Serves
Our Services
-
We provide comprehensive mental health evaluations that include screening, burnout assessment, trauma and risk evaluation, and written recommendations. These assessments help identify stress levels, emotional strain, and areas where supportive care is needed so that each staff member receives the right level of guidance and treatment.
-
Our individual therapy sessions offer a safe and supportive space for staff to talk openly about anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, work stress, and personal challenges. Sessions are available through telehealth, allowing easy access to care that fits each person’s schedule and comfort level.
-
Group therapy brings people together to learn, heal, and support one another in a shared environment. These sessions focus on stress management, communication and conflict, trauma resilience, healthy boundaries, and grief. Group settings help individuals feel less alone and build community connections.
-
We provide family therapy for individuals experiencing conflict, emotional strain, or changes at home. This service strengthens communication, improves relationships, and supports healing for families navigating difficult moments or transitions.
-
Our licensed psychiatric providers offer medication evaluations and ongoing medication monitoring for those who may need additional mental health support. We work closely with each person to ensure their medication plan is safe, effective, and aligned with their overall wellness goals.
-
Our fitness and nutrition coaching helps individuals build healthier habits that support both physical and emotional well being. This service integrates wellness routines, lifestyle guidance, and behavioral health support to promote long term health.
-
We offer wellness workshops for organizations and community groups that focus on mindfulness, emotional intelligence, resilience, boundary setting, and effective team communication. These workshops promote healthier environments and empower individuals to thrive in both personal and professional spaces.

Why Community Care Matters
Frontline workers carry heavy emotional loads. Many face burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary trauma. Too often, they put their own wellness last.
The Community Care Program gives them a safe space to heal, reflect, and recharge so they can continue making an impact while protecting their own mental health.
Healthy staff create healthier communities.
