Latasha Derrick, LMSW
LaTasha is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a strong background in client advocacy, social services, and crisis intervention. She has provided direct support to children, families, and adults through psychosocial assessments, case management, and intervention planning. With both professional and internship experience in community-based organizations, shelters, and mental health centers, she brings compassion and practical expertise to her clinical work.
Her clinical experience includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and supporting clients through challenges related to trauma, substance use, housing instability, and family conflict. LaTasha is skilled in crisis intervention, stress management, and resource coordination, always working to ensure clients feel heard and supported.
In addition to her clinical training, LaTasha has over two decades of federal service experience with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she has been recognized nationally for excellence in service and advocacy. This unique blend of professional and clinical expertise informs her holistic and client-centered approach to care. With warmth, empathy, and a commitment to empowerment, LaTasha helps individuals and families navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward stability and growth.
